I'm convinced you have developed the warmest ski mitts on the market
by Eric Belliveau
Growing up in New England I’m accustomed to skiing in cold weather. However, the one problem I have always had skiing in the colder months, was that my hands were always cold, especially on the first couple of runs. Just recently I went skiing at Killington right after a Nor-Easter and, although it was only -5 below at the summit, it was the cold sustained winds with a wind chill of -25, that made it difficult to stay warm. Fortunately I had my new Vapor Trigg gloves and surprisingly my hands were the only part of my body that was toasty warm all day!
This was a new experience for me. My hands were always the first to get cold and, typically after a few hours, my gloves would get damp which effectively made my hands colder. This was the other thing that really impressed me is that the gloves remained dry – I mean absolutely no moisture at all! At the end of the day I was convinced that I have finally found the cure to cold hands and I wasn’t the only one. I let a few of my buddies (who initially invested in glove warmers in the beginning of the day) test drive your revolutionary gloves and they couldn’t believe how warm their hands were.
One last thing that I really like is how light and versatile the mitts are. Typically after each run I unbuckle my ski boots and at the top of the hill buckle them up again. I found in the past this was not always an easy task with gloves or mittens that are too bulky. The construction of your gloves is very light & thin which made it easy to grasp onto the buckles of my boots therefore I could keep my gloves on at all times.
Thanks again Nancy & Ryan for your hard work and dedication in researching and developing a product that really works! There are a lot of companies each and every year in the ski industry with persuasive marketing that claim to keep you warm and dry – after using your gloves only once I’m convinced that you have developed the warmest ski mitts on the market!
