Spectral Jacket

The newest edition to the RBH lineup LiteWorks Series. This is the lightest (2.5oz, 72grams) most tear resistant jacket money can buy! Each piece is made to order and is available with a variety of options. The standard configuration as pictured features front pockets/vents based on our NTS patterning. The cut of the Spectral is more tapered than the NTS so shockcords have been eliminated to reduce weight and bulk.  Also, standard configuration on the cuffs is lycra binding but velcro closures are available upon request.

Usually going über light has some trade offs but pound for pound, or should we say gram for gram, Cuben Fiber is tough stuff.  Cuben has lower moisture vapor transmission, higher water repellancy and increased tear strength over your standard 30 denier silicone coated nylon at about 1/3 the weight. We wanted to create a vapor barrier piece that was extremely versatile and would go unnoticed in the pack and this is a phantom.

This is the perfect accompaniment to wear under one of the newer down sweater pieces such as the Nunatak Skaha. It turns such a piece into full functioning layer even for extended trips as the down is kept dry and clean!
