The Lightning Bug Jacket offers super light VB protection. Used by runners, cyclists, nighttime walkers, hikers and climbers who want minimum weight and maximum protection. The jacket is the same pattern as our NTS Shirt. Each garment is custom made. The base garment is an ultra minimalist piece which can be built with a number of options including: front pockets, shockcord waist closure, velcro wrist closure, pit and forearms zippers, as well as reflective Scotchlite stripes. Constructed from 1.3oz Sil-Nylon this material can be challenging to work with due to it's weight and slickness, but offers significant advantages such as nil-dry-time and tear strength surpassing heavier 2 and 3 ply laminates.

- Impeccable craftmanship featuring hot-cut pieces, top stitching, and bartacking
- Weighs in at a mere 4.8oz (size medium w/ forearm zips)
- #3 YKK Vislon one- way seperating zipper is standard - (Two-way water resistant Riri Aquazip is optional)
- Commercial seam taping is not an option on silnylon. However seams can be sealed using a clear silicone sealant to make the garment waterproof.
