Vapor Mitt

Our Vapor Mitt shells are constructed from 200 denier high-tenacity oxford that has been treated with a  waterproof coating to withstand the harshest abuse. All nylon parts are laser or hot cut to prevent ravelling. Nylon thread and high stitch count are used throughout. Palm, thumb and box pieces are made from Pittards leather to withstand the rigors of rapels and to remain supple in sub-zero conditions. The box construction and anatomic curve increases warmth and reduces fatigue. Technical features include: one-handed gauntlet closure,  idiot cord, fleece nose wipe and Velcro on the end of gauntlet to accomodate the sweat skirt on our liners. The gauntlet is cut wide to fit over a bulky parka and to release excess heat if necessary. 

Our mitts are engineered as a system. The base price is for the VaprThrm fleece liner. You may replace this with either the VaprThrm Hybrid or Altitude Liners; or you may purchase additional liners to allow you the flexibility of transforming your mitt to accommodate the variety of temperatures and activities you might encounter.
