VaprThrm® Insulated Sock

Combination of vapor barrier and high-performance fleece.

Don't judge a book by its cover.  We've been told they look "weird", but they have been proven effective!  The VaprThrm^® Insulated Socks are made from our patented VaprThrm^®  fleece. This Insulated Sock features a soft tricot lining designed to be worn next to the skin. The lining fabric incorporates a Cupron (copper) fiber to help eliminate odor.  The plush Outerbounds fleece eliminates the need to wear any other sock. The advanced pattern places seams away from presure points to avoid blisters.  These Insulated Socks have successfully protected people in the coldest enviroments including: Antarctica, the North Pole, Denali, and on Himalayan peaks.  Also used by fishermen, hunters, skiers and snowboarders. The Insulated Socks work best with roomy boots to allow for "wiggle room" of  toes. Not recommended for tight-fitting boots. 

Please do not order shoe size.  Trace foot while standing and wearing a thin sock, then compare length and width of your foot to our sizing chart.  For hard-to-fit sizes there will be an additional charge of $8 for custom-made socks.  Please send measurements with order. 

Not seam-sealed. Socks can be machine washed using warm water and mild detergent.  Air dry to maintain softness of fleece. Color of sock may vary depending on availability of fabric.
