The Utralight Mitt weighs only 6.5 ounces per pair for a size medium. The shell is constructed from a 70 denier silicon coated nylon ripstop. The waterproof leather used on the palm, thumb, and box is high quality Pittard's. There is a soft fleece nose-wipe on the thumb. To eliminate the weight of the Velcro, the ClimaShield liner is not detatchable in this mitten.
