I wanted to touch base with you now that I am back from Alaska after racing in the Iditarod Trail Invitational.
My Lightning Bug jacket and VaprThrm socks were fantastic! I experienced temperatures as warm as 48F and as low as -15F, so moisture management could have been a real problem had I used a traditional layering system. But, with my Lightning Bug jacket and VaprThrm socks, my insulating layers stayed dry and kept me warm. And, even at -15F, I wore only a thin Smartwool layer under my Lightning Bug Jacket. Amazing!
